SELF PORTRAIT OF INDIANNA SYNNES

My name is Indianna Synnes and I am graduate student living in South Australia that has a passion for photography, videography and editing! My passion for creative industry started when I was in high school. I fell in love with art and being able to creative anything I wanted. Soon I fell in love with video editing as I made small music videos for myself to enjoy. I got my own first DSLR when I was 16 and started to fall in love with photography and videography! This lead to me starting my bachelors in Film and Television at the University of South Australia, which i graduated from as of the end of 2021. Throughout university I had amazing opportunities to work on many short films. Even got the chance to complete an internship with the Naval Shipbuilding college as a producer.

At the moment I am working as a videographer for Domino’s where I film and edit training videos, promotional videos or anything that is happening in the background that the outside world doesn’t normally get to see. I also work for GFP events as a photographer where I take studio photos of the just graduated university students. I am also completing my Masters in Teaching Arts – secondary at the University of South Australia. My hope is to inspire young minds into the creative field just as my own art teacher did.

My dream is to one day have photography and videography as my full time job in some way. or have it as my part time job while I teach art, film and IT too young high school students Where ever life takes me I am very excited for the road a head of me.
